Reign Notes:

The Reign come home for a weekend series against the Las Vegas Thunderbirds. The Reign took two out of three games last week up in Fresno and are looking to add to their two-game win streak. Reign Goaltender James Palmer looks to continue his solid performance in the net. Stealing two straight wins from a strong Fresno team last week, he looks to continue his strong performance in the net.

The Reign are still in the hunt for the fourth and final playoff spot, grabbing those two wins last weekend puts them at 31 points on the year. They are three points behind the fourth-place San Diego Sabers at 34 points.

Thunderbirds Notes:

The Thunderbirds are on the road in Ontario, after not playing since February 4 and 5 where they beat the Long Beach Shredders 7-4 on Feb.4 and 1-5 on Feb.5. The Thunderbirds look to continue their strong season as they sit second in the Pacific Division with 51 points and have locked up a playoff position. Goaltender Anthony Bonaldi looks to continue his strong season in net posting a .910 save percentage and an 11-6 record between the pipes.

The Thunderbirds look to play spoiler on the Reign’s season and prevent them from grabbing that fourth and final playoff spot in the pacific.

Who To Watch:

For the Reign, Junah Croteau is the player to continue watching as he put up 11 points last weekend in Fresno, scoring four goals with seven assists. He continues to be the top point producer for this Reign team.

For the Thunderbirds, Heath Mensch is the player to keep eyes on as he leads the team in goals, assists, and points with 94 points, 41 goals, and 53 assists.
