ABOUT THE ONTARIO JR REIGN
Hockey. Education. Life Skills.
The Ontario Jr. Reign compete in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), the highest level of junior hockey west of the Mississippi River for players ages 16–20. Our mission is to develop student-athletes both on and off the ice while preparing them for higher levels of junior, collegiate, and professional hockey. Together with our affiliates, the San Diego Sabers and St. John Bosco Prep, we provide a complete development pathway centered on hockey, education, and life skills. The Ontario Jr. Reign are proud to represent the Inland Empire and serve as the region's premier junior hockey organization.
Since the organization's inaugural season in 2021, the Reign have compiled a 137-39-6 record, captured two Pacific Division Championships, reached three consecutive Pacific Division Finals, and earned two National Championship tournament berths. More than 40 players have advanced to higher levels of junior, collegiate, and professional hockey, helping earn the organization's elevation to the NCDC beginning with the 2026-27 season. Off the ice, our players are active throughout the Inland Empire, volunteering in local schools and community initiatives while developing the leadership, character, and life skills that define the Ontario Jr. Reign.
Similar to exchange students, our players live with carefully selected host families who provide a safe, supportive, and stable home environment throughout the season. These families play an important role in our players' development, helping them thrive both on and off the ice while pursuing their hockey and academic goals.
Ontario Jr. Reign home games combine elite junior hockey with an exciting, family-friendly atmosphere. Fans can expect fast, physical hockey, music, local food vendors, interactive contests, affordable ticket prices, and free parking—all while watching tomorrow's collegiate and professional players compete today.
