Tristan Chester Named Business and Hockey Operations Intern with the USPHL Ontario Jr Reign

by Jr Reign

The Ontario Jr. Reign are pleased to announce that Tristan Chester has joined their organization as the Business and Hockey Operations Intern for the upcoming season. Chester is a UCLA graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. UCLA is ranked the No. 1 public university by U.S. News & World Report. Chester earned a merit scholarship to attend UC Riverside to complete his MBA degree. He played ice hockey for over 15 years and completed his hockey playing career while at UCLA. He is a former CA State Ambassador for the 4-H Organization and served as a National Healthy Living Ambassador serving over six million youth in the United States.

Chester stated “I am excited to be a part of the Ontario Jr. Reign, they have an excellent leadership team. I look forward to learning from them as well as doing my best to have a positive impact and contribution to the organization.”

Head Coach and General Manager Jeremy Blumes commented “Tristan is a brilliant young man, a product of the California education system, coming to us from one of the premier college institutions in the US. Chester will be an invaluable resource for our players and the program. Last season’s intern Ryan Kearney earned himself a position with Colgate University, another excellent school, we suspect Tristan will be able to springboard into a position in his field following his time with us as well”. Our program is about development for both players and our staff, if we can serve as a stepping stone for Tristan to bigger and better things we are fortunate to be a part of that process.”

Friday, September 23rd, and Saturday, September 24th mark the Home Opening weekend for your Ontario Jr. Reign playing out of Ontario Center Ice Arena.
