The Ontario Jr. Reign are delighted to announce that goaltender and SoCal native Julian “Bones” Arenal has committed to Idaho State University.

The 21-year-old La Verne resident played with the OJR 18U AA and was later promoted to the OJR 18U AAA during the 2020-21 season, as well Arenal played for the Ontario Moose, California Wave 18U AA and the Long Beach Shredders in the USPHL.

Arenal ultimately returned home for the 2022-23 season and continued his stay the following season capturing a pacific division title in his final year of Junior hockey. Last season, “Bones” notched 11 wins in 13 games with a .904 save percentage. During his overall time with OJR in the USPHL, Arenal totaled 19 wins across 23 games, with a save percentage of .895.

The primary objective of the Ontario Jr. Reign is to assist in our players' development on and off the ice. As an organization, we are fortunate to be part of our athletes' success stories and to see them thrive in achieving their goals.

The Ontario Jr. Reign would like to congratulate and thank Julian and the entire Arenal family for their dedication and support of our organization.
