San Clemente, California native Sean Coughlin signs with hometown USPHL Reign

The Ontario Jr Reign announced they have signed former Los Angeles Jr King defenseman Sean Coughlin from San Clemente, CA. 


Last season the towering 6’2 blueliner competed for the  U18 AAA East Coast Spartans where he scored 4 goals and 4 assists in 49 games played.



“If my skill is anything like gas prices it’s only going to go up this season,” said Sean Coughlin. “I want to thank the Ontario Jr Reign and their staff for this exciting opportunity.”


Head Coach and General Manager Jeremy Blumes remarks “Sean is a big, mobile D-man that will contribute at both ends of the ice. We are thrilled to add a talented local product with a solid character like Sean to our roster. We believe that our program can serve as a stepping stone for local Californian players like Sean to college hockey programs ”

The Ontario Jr Reign have announced their upcoming USPHL Prep Camp on the weekend of August 13-14, 2022 in Ontario, California at Center Ice Arena.
