The USPHL Ontario Jr. Reign welcomed the Las Vegas Thunderbirds for a three-game series at home in Ontario where they began the hard-fought series on Friday where the Jr. Reign jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead. The Thunderbirds answered back by scoring 3 unanswered goals but Eamon Julian tied it at 3 in the third period which eventually sent the teams into overtime. With less than a minute left in overtime, the Jr. Reign went on a power play in which Jacob Pelletier took advantage to end it with the game-winner with 12 seconds to play.

Saturday saw a team that was ready for another hard-fought game, the two teams exchanged goals throughout the first 2 periods to make it a 3-2 game in which Carter Demelo broke the pattern and extended the Jr. Reign lead to a 4-2 lead to end the second. The Thunderbirds responded back by scoring early in the third at 4-3 but that proved to not be enough as Sean Coughlin and Lare Pahtayken both scored goals to seal the game at 6-3 for another Jr. Reign win.

Sunday would be when the Jr. Reign attempted to sweep the Thunderbirds after two great games the previous nights. The Jr. Reign started hot as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead, it ultimately proved too good to be true as the Thunderbirds answered back with 5 unanswered goals they narrowly escaped the sweep.

The Jr. Reign returns to the ice on Thu. December 1 where they travel to face the number one seed Fresno Monsters as they seek revenge for the 1-2 series loss earlier in the season.
