Ontario Jr. Reign Announce 2026–27 Scouting Staff

The Ontario Jr. Reign are proud to announce their 2026–27 Scouting Staff, a group of emerging hockey minds spanning the United States, Canada, and Europe. This year’s staff features several standout additions, including Josh Klicka, whose scouting reports have been featured on NHL Network’s NHL Draft coverage; Alfred Sjöström, who has experience as a Goalie Coach in Allsvenskan, bringing high‑level European expertise; and Michael Charlton, who joins the Reign with experience Scouting for DraftProspectsHockey, one of the sport’s most respected independent scouting platforms.

Under Director of Scouting Nick Robert Gallo, the Jr. Reign continue to build a department focused not only on elite talent identification, but on developing future Hockey Operations professionals. “I want this to be where aspiring Hockey Scouts and staff want to be to make a real impact while also developing in their own right. We’ve been fortunate to add many ambitious Hockey minds to our Scouting staff.”

To support that mission, the organization is launching the OJR Roundtable, a monthly development session featuring a guest from a high‑level Hockey Operations or Scouting role. This exclusive program provides Jr. Reign scouts with direct access to industry leaders, offering insight, guidance, and real‑world learning opportunities that strengthen both the staff and the organization.
