Ontario Jr Reign Adds Eric Phillips to Coaching Staff

Ontario, CA – May 27, 2025 – The Ontario Jr Reign are proud to announce the addition of Eric Phillips as assistant coach for the upcoming 2025–26 season.

Phillips joins the Reign with strong local ties and a growing reputation in player development. He most recently served as an assistant coach with the Jr. Ducks 18U AA team and currently holds the same role with the Lady Ducks 14U AAA program.

In addition to his youth coaching experience, Phillips has worked with the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks since the 2020–21 season as a gameday assistant, supporting game operations and logistics.

Phillips is also owner operator of the Athlete Advisory Group, a player-focused agency service dedicated to mentorship, video analysis, and position-specific training. A former junior and collegiate player himself, Phillips brings a modern coaching style built on skill development, structured systems, and clear, consistent communication.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join the Reign and continue their tradition of excellence,” said Phillips. “I’m passionate about helping players grow—on and off the ice—and I’m looking forward to getting started.”

Head Coach and General Manager Jeremy Blumes added, “Eric is a smart, driven, and mature young coach with a tremendous amount to offer our players and program. This is a significant addition to our staff, and the impact he’ll have with our group.”

The Reign continues to build on a foundation of elite development and winning culture heading into the 2025–26 campaign.
