Ontario Jr Reign add mental performance coach - Seth Anderson

by Tomas Kapusta

Head Coach and General Manager Jeremy Blumes has known Seth for several years. Blumes commented “We want to provide our players with every tool possible to be successful. I know that Seth can help our group maintain their focus, battle through adversity, and ensure that they enjoy the wild ride that Junior hockey can be. I often refer to the muscle between our ears as the most important one and Seth is here to help the guys train that muscle in particular. Adding Seth will be a huge bonus to our players' development, which at the end of the day is what this program is all about.”

Seth is a certified leadership coach who has trained and apprenticed with high-caliber coaches around the world. He also comes with almost a decade of junior hockey experience coaching, scouting, and management which included being the GM & Head Coach of the Wainwright Bisons (NEJBHL), Regional Scout with the Drumheller Dragons (AJHL), and  Director of Hockey Operations with the Calgary Canucks (AJHL).

Seth has a diverse leadership and coaching background, spending 12 years as a senior leader at a large telecommunications company, and being an entrepreneur leading several starts up’s over the past few years including his 8x award-winning leadership podcast - The Biz Dojo and mindset coaching practice where he has worked with high performing business leaders, entrepreneurs, athletes & entertainers.
