OJR Players Spend the Week with Leadership Coach Seth Anderson

by Callum Kemlo

The Ontario Jr Reign were pleased to be joined by certified leadership coach Seth Anderson this past week, giving the team an opportunity to “work on their personal awareness, developing strategies for managing self talk, and identifying controllable vs uncontrollable situations.” Seth joined the team and conducted two workshops, covering a variety of topics.

“We did two workshops together that were focused on helping everyone on the team work on their personal awareness, developing strategies for managing self-talk, and identifying controllable vs uncontrollable situations.” Seth continued, saying “The workshops were intended to help create common language around mindset, establish connection between the team members, and offer some new ideas of how to manage mindset, inner self-talk, and leadership proactively.”

Seth is a certified leadership coach with training that’s backed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Seth works with high performers in sports, business, and entertainment to “tap into their inner wisdom and get to their next level.”

“I have a background in coaching and managing junior hockey teams back to 2011 with the Wainwright Bisons, held multiple corporate leadership positions at a large telecommunications company, and for the past 5 years have been on a personal wellness journey which has included losing 100 pounds, starting an 11x award-winning podcast (The Biz Dojo), and helping many people through coaching. My approach to coaching is creating space for people to explore where they are  currently, where they’d like to be, and co-creating action plans that will lead individuals and teams toward a process that will help them get to their next level.”

The team was extremely happy to have Seth join them for these workshops and thank him for his valuable time. If you wish to connect with Seth, you can find him below:
