Mayor Paul Leon to drop the ceremonial puck on Oct. 15

The Ontario Jr Reign is honored to announce that Mayor Paul Leon of Ontario, CA will be dropping the first-ever ceremonial puck drop in franchise history this Friday on October 15th. The Ontario Jr Reign will be taking on the Lake Tahoe Lakers at Ontario Center Ice Arena. Puck drops at 7:30 pm PT. Friday night will also mark the team's inaugural student night, all students with ID will receive free admission into the game. 

Mayor Paul Leon was appointed to the Ontario City Council in 1998. He was later elected to the City Council in 1999 and re-elected in 2000 and 2004. He served as Mayor Pro Tem from December 2002 until January 2005. Paul was elected to Mayor in a special election in June 2005 and re-elected to four-year terms in November 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018. Subsequently, he has been Mayor for 15 years.
