Diego “Danger” Flota Delights OJR, inked for ‘23-’24
The Ontario Jr Reign are pleased to announce that Regina, Saskatchewan product Diego Flota has signed with the team for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. The 6'3" and 174-pound Flota joins the team after splitting last year with fellow USPHL teams the Provo Predators and the Utah Outliers. Between the two teams Diego scored once, notched 6 assists along with collecting 69 PIM’s. Prior to his junior career, Diego spent 5 years playing Double A and Triple A hockey in his home province of Saskatchewan.
Diego describes himself as “a big, strong, physical player who uses my speed and strength to my advantage. I hope to improve my game both on and off the ice so that I can take my game to the next level and have an exceptional season.”
When asked about his move to Ontario, Diego has this to say, “I’m excited to get down there, and work under Jeremy and have his mentorship alongside the rest of the staff and organization. I’m looking forward to meeting the team, getting involved in the community, and taking my game to the next level."

8 current members of the 22-23 Reign roster participated in previous combines including Adam Layden signed to play with the Notre Dame Hounds in the SJHL.
The weekend will consist of demanding practices, dryland, and games officiated by referees and made available on video. Players will receive an exit interview with quantifiable feedback.
