Jr. Reign Notes:

The Jr. Reign is coming off of a bounce-back weekend with a 2-1 series win over the Thunderbirds as they welcome their rival San Diego Sabers for part two of the Battle of the I-15. The last time these two faced off saw a split 1-1 including the biggest comeback in Jr. Reign franchise history. The Jr. Reign have recently regained their momentum and have looked more ready than ever as they look to make a statement on their home ice against their rivals from down South.

Sabers Notes:

The Sabers currently lead the Jr. Reign by one point in the standings while on a 4 game win streak where they did not allow more than two goals per game. This team has caught fire recently and traveled up north to face another team who has regained its flame. With both teams one point apart in the standings, this game will be another intense, must-watch matchup between two talented rivals.

Who To Watch:

For the Jr. Reign, Max Kathol and Ivan Kedrov are the two players to watch for. Kathol remains second on the team in scoring with 17 goals and 26 assists while adding 3 goals and 2 assists this past weekend. Kedrov is fifth on the team in scoring with a split 10 goals and 10 assists but has been blazing hot as he netted a goal in each game this past weekend including 2 assists.

For the Sabers, Michal Novak and Mario Paganini are the two players to watch for. Both players are tied for first with 34 points however Novak leads with 19 goals and 15 assists including 1 goal in each of his past three games with 2 assists. Paganini is reversed with 15 goals and 19 assists with 1 goal and 6 assists in the last three games.
