  • Ontario Jr. Reign: 14-4-0
  • Fresno Monsters: 17-3-1

Reign Notes:

The Jr. Reign come out of Thanksgiving even hungrier as they travel to Fresno to face the number one seed in the Pacific. The Jr. Reign last played a hard-fought series with the Las Vegas Thunderbirds which proved to be a test of resilience in which they won 2 of 3. The Jr. Reign will also look for revenge for the series earlier in the season in which they lost 1-2.

Monsters Notes:

Standing all alone at the top of the pacific with a seven-point lead, the Monsters have not lost a game since October 28 and have been playing great hockey. The Monsters have only allowed more than 4 goals in a game one time, which was to the Jr. Reign. With a season record of 2-1 against the Jr. Reign, they will be their biggest test to date.

Who To Watch:

For the Reign, Ethan McKibbin and Max Kathol continue to be the two players to watch for. McKibbin moved to 11th in USPHL scoring with an even split 19 assists and 19 goals averaging 2.11 points per game. Kathol continues to shine as 22nd in USPHL scoring with 23 assists and 11 goals averaging 1.89 points per game. The two combine for exactly 4 points per game!

For the Monsters, Christopher Miraldo and Jacob Gagnon are the two players to watch for. Miraldo has been playing excellent hockey as he ranks 5th in USPHL scoring with 16 assists and an impressive 31 goals. Gagnon stands in second on the team with 21 assists and 8 goals.
