California Connection - Local Irvine native Alex Vasilevski Signs with USPHL Junior A Reign

Last season Vasilevski played U18 AA for the Jr. Ducks, demonstrating a knack for filling the score sheet utilizing his heavy shot, and fantastic vision collecting 70 points in 48 games.

“I’m excited to join this program,” Vasilevski said. “We have great coaches, great staff, and great players. Really Excited for what the future holds for the boys and me.”

Fluent in a number of languages, Alex has been helping fellow teammates, a native of Kazan, Russia Amir Shakirov with some translation when required. 

Hockey is in Vasielvski’s DNA, father Alex had a long professional career playing in the NHL, AHL, and IHL among others. Alex Sr. is now a coach with the Jr Ducks program in Southern California.
