Big Blueliner Adam Layden signs with USPHL Ontario Jr Reign

by Jr Reign

The Ontario Jr Reign announced they have signed 6’3, 195-pound defenseman Adam Layden.

“I want to thank the entire Ontario Jr Reign staff for this opportunity to be a part of their growing organization. I have always wanted to stay in California, so when this opportunity arrived I was ready to board the Reign train.”

Layden was identified at the Reign’s spring combine in Saskatoon in early June this Spring.

Head Coach and General Manager Jeremy Blumes remarked “As an 04 Adam already has a year of junior experience under his belt and comes to us with all kinds of tools to be unleashed. A very mobile large human, I believe the opposition will be wary of skating down his side of the ice. Adam possesses a strong IQ, and I believe with the proper instruction will be making an impact this season. Along with that on-ice promise, in the classroom, Adam graduated with a 94% average student that we believe will play for us and advance to a post-secondary institution with a focus on business and marketing while continuing to play the game he loves. This is of course what are program is all about, helping players get to the next level. Signing Adam is a significant addition to our backend for this season and for our program's long terms vision moving forward.“

The Ontario Jr Reign would like to welcome Adam and the Layden family to Ontario.

The Ontario Jr Reign have announced their upcoming USPHL Prep Camp on the weekend of August 13-14, 2022 in Ontario, California at Center Ice Arena.
