Ben De Haas commits to Lawrence Technological University

The Ontario Jr Reign is pleased to announce that 2003-born forward Ben De Haas has committed to Lawrence Technological University for the 2022-2023 season. De Haas received the most improved player award during the 2021-2022 season as he continued to show tremendous gains both on and off the ice due to his impressive work ethic. Ben finished the season with 10 goals and 10 assists.

“Ben is a fierce competitor and LTU is adding the type of player that will be a difference-maker in close checking affairs,” said Head Coach Jeremy Blumes. “A big reason for our great stretch drive to make the playoffs was the commitment to our team concept from players like Ben. Based on Ben’s approach to the game I am very excited to track his progress.”

The Ontario Jr Reign organization would like to congratulate Ben and his family on this accomplishment and wish him all the best on and off the ice next season with Lawrence Technological University.
